ABOUT US
Barbecue Presbyterian Church is a community of people seeking together to be the best disciples of Jesus Christ that we can be. Founded in 1758, the church celebrates its meaningful heritage even as we seek fresh opportunities
to embody love for God and our neighbors. At Barbecue, unconditional love abounds as we worship, learn, reach out to the community and enjoy fellowship together. If you are looking for a place to belong and grow in your faith, we hope you’ll join us soon!

CHOIR DIRECTOR
Choir Director - Jeanne Anderson
I grew up in the Olivia Presbyterian Church. During those years it was yoked with Barbecue. The youth groups met together so I know many of you or your families. I graduated with undergraduate and masters music education degrees from UNC-G. I have taught music in the counties of Davie, Rowan/Salisbury, Harnett and Lee.
It is a blessing to be here - not only as a choir director/musician - also as a part of this community of believers. I will work diligently with the choir. I will work to build a handbell choir. I will seek to provide opportunities for the youth to participate and lead in worship.
It is my hope that Barbecue Presbyterian Church is the church God wants us to be. Let's get excited and do it together as we keep inviting former attendees and members back and share our church with "new" people.
